Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a fine dining, boutique hotel, or afternoon tea service preferred
- Valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC/Alcohol Service Permit (as applicable)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Hotel deLuxe and Gracie's standards
- Dependable, honest, and adaptable to changing schedules and service demands
- Willingness to learn, accept direction, and apply constructive feedback
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining, boutique hotel, or afternoon tea service preferred
- Strong understanding of traditional tea service and refined table etiquette
- Exceptional communication skills, poise, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and anticipate guest needs
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Hotel deLuxe and Gracie's standards
- Dependable, honest, and adaptable to changing schedules and service demands
- Willingness to learn, accept direction, and apply constructive feedback
- General knowledge of food, beverages, garnishes, and menu timing
- Knowledge of table setups, condiments, and general food and beverage operations

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of delicate tableware
Job Duties
- Provide refined and attentive service throughout the high tea experience, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and cared for
- Set and maintain beautifully presented tea service tables, including tiered trays, fine china, and condiments that reflect the hotel deluxe aesthetic
- Present tea selections, pastries, and savories with confidence and enthusiasm
- assist guests in choosing pairings suited to their preferences
- Prepare and serve tea following precise steeping and presentation standards
- Maintain detailed knowledge of tea varieties, pastries, and seasonal offerings, including dietary accommodations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless timing and flawless presentation
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards at all times
