Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CA Food Handler Card required
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs
- Proficient English communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 8-hour or split shifts
- Age 18 or older
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- CA Food Handler Card required
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry a tray weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to communicate in English (listening, understanding, and responding) with members/guests/co-workers in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry a tray for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work a straight 8hr shift or two 4hr split shifts
- Other duties as assigned
Job Duties
- Check with members to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients, and cooking methods
- Inform members of daily specials
- Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
- Serve food and/or beverages to members
- Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
