Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- food handling certification such as ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service
- prior experience in food service preferred
- willingness to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand for extended periods and move about property
- conformity with hotel dress and grooming standards
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- ability to handle guest feedback professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience in hospitality
- food handling certification (ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service)
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- experience as a server in a fine dining setting preferred
Job Duties
- Take orders from guests promptly and accurately
- communicate food allergies and nutritional needs to kitchen staff
- assist with delivery of room service orders
- check in periodically with guests to ensure satisfaction
- engage guests with a friendly and efficient approach
- address and escalate guest feedback, concerns, or complaints tactfully
- collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations
