Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • must display effective communication skills
  • use good judgement and emotional maturity in all communications
  • be able to work shifts including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to use good judgement and emotional maturity
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to follow directions and procedures

Job Duties

  • Coordinate service stations to ensure smooth meal service
  • take and deliver meal orders to residents promptly
  • prepare daily dessert and fruit options for residents
  • maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-stocked dining room
  • provide excellent resident-centered service consistent with CREATE values
  • assist in setting up and clearing dining areas
  • communicate effectively with residents and staff
