Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to use kitchen utensils and equipment proficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and work continuously without prolonged sitting
Job Duties
- Enhance the dining experience for residents, family members and guests
- Assist in delivery of culinary activities across multiple dining venues
- Provide professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely service
- Work under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor
- Follow community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophies
- Assist with special events and private functions
- Maintain a high level of satisfaction for residents and guests
