Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
One year plus serving experience preferred, but training provided
Food Handler's Card required (training provided)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Excellent time management, organization, and customer service skills
Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of older adults
Current COVID-19 vaccine preferred
Must have physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform a variety of physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing/pulling, and grasping with both hands

Job Qualifications

At least one year of serving experience preferred
Ability to operate POS system accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organization skills
Customer service excellence
Passion for serving older adults in a senior living community
Food Handler's Card (training provided)

Job Duties

Set and maintain clean, properly arranged tables with correct place settings
Serve meals promptly and accurately with a courteous, professional demeanor
Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset for next service
Support service during special events and functions
Cultivate positive, respectful relationships with residents and guests in alignment with the community's high standards for care and service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
Operate POS system with accuracy
Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude at all times
