Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of experience in food service or related role
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work full time hours
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic knowledge of food safety practices
Job Qualifications
- a big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents
- if under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization if applicable
- must currently hold a Food Handler's Card or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum
- strong customer service presentation
Job Duties
- direct residents to their tables
- present menus
- suggest dishes and assist in drink selection
- communicate specific resident orders, utilizing the point of sale system
- complete all dining room opening and closing duties
