Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- BASSET and Food Handler certifications or equivalent
- Flexible availability including days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Capability to exert medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous demeanor
- Ability to keep supervisors informed of issues
- Ability to perform preparatory, opening, closing and side work duties
- Knowledge of menu items and ability to provide accurate descriptions
- Compliance with BASSET alcohol service procedures
- Adherence to money handling policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- BASSET certification or equivalent
- Food Handler certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Job Duties
- Set up food and beverage service areas according to Q Center standards
- Serve guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Respond to guest complaints and communicate issues to management
- Set tables, buffet stations, dining room buffet, bussing stations, and bars following Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain service area storerooms in a neat, organized manner and stock supplies
- Clean up function spaces and ensure proper storage and restocking of equipment
- Follow BASSET procedures for liquor service to ensure safe and controlled alcohol distribution
- Adhere to money handling procedures when serving guests
- Provide accurate menu descriptions and ensure overall guest satisfaction and safety
