Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or foodservice preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- open availability including weekends
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to comply with company policies and safety standards
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- willingness to undergo background screening if required
Job Qualifications
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments including hotels, resorts, or high-end restaurants
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- customer service orientation
- basic cash handling experience
- flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts
- understanding of specialized diets and allergens
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- provide knowledgeable menu guidance including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- handle guest complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- assist with setup and cleanup of dining areas
- operate various dining and beverage equipment
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
