Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a server role
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be 18 years or older
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
- Must complete TIPS certification within 90 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a server
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service including beer, wine, and cocktail pairings
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Fluent and fully conversational in English
- Must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be available to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions with flexibility
Job Duties
- Follow OTG steps of service and standard operating procedures
- Greet guests pleasantly
- Walk guests through the OTG ordering and payment system
- Highlight menu, food and beverage options, and make suggestions based on guest preferences or dietary restrictions and allergies
- Follow OTG cash handling and cash register policies
- Maintain cleanliness within the restaurant's dining and service stations
- Communicate with chefs and managers to ensure timely food delivery to guests
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings
- Assist team members as needed
- Inform manager on duty about guest complaints, feedback or inquiries
- Monitor and report intoxicated guests to manager on duty
- Inform leadership team of low inventory and equipment issues
- Perform additional tasks requested by OTG leadership team
