Job Requirements
- Knowledge of bar and restaurant service and pleasant attitude
- 10 years restaurant experience
- flexible and malleable attitude towards new ideas
- must be able to stand for 9 hours
- ability to perform job functions while wearing specified uniform including proper footwear
- good hearing for accurate communication
- command of the English language
- basic computer usage skills
- must be alert to guest needs
- ability to carry and lift trays up to 40 pounds
- beliefs and behaviors that reflect integrity and discipline
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years hospitality experience
- proven history of professionalism and accountability
- experience with fine dining or similar concepts preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to connect with affluent clientele
- knowledge of bar and restaurant service
- flexible and adaptable attitude
- basic computer skills
- command of the English language
- understanding of food allergens
Job Duties
- Perform dining room set-up
- run side work and closing duties
- maintain accurate product knowledge including allergens
- serve guests according to trained steps in service and scripts
- ensure table maintenance and dining room cleanliness
- compute guest checks and operate P.O.S. system for payments
- lawfully declare tips per tip declaration procedure
- maintain dining room and service area safety and sanitation
- pass state alcohol certification examination
- pass all required tests with a grade of 90 percent or higher
- perform job functions in adherence to performance standards
- attend all Ambassador meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- always work with teamwork in mind
