Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- inform guests of specials and menu changes
- make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- answer questions about food, beverages, and other facility functions and services
- take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them in the point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages promptly from kitchen and bar to guests
- perform side work at the start and end of shifts as required by service station assignment
- maintain clean service areas
- monitor and observe guest experience and ensure satisfaction
- respond promptly and courteously to any requests
- prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process credit card charges
- assist fellow servers as needed
- assist bus persons with clearing and resetting tables
- thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation as directed by management
- maintain a positive attitude and always smile
