Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- On-the-job training provided
- Must wear specified uniform, gloves and hair covering as covered by regulations
- Must proficiently operate the cash register system and ensure daily receipts balance
- Must train as required by supervisor in upper tier table serving techniques and bar and café operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Prior server experience preferred
- Previous experience in long term care or assisted living communities preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Assists cook in preparing desserts, salads and side dishes
- Checks and maintains water temperature in dishwasher and soaking sinks per policy and sanitation guidelines
- Checks dishwasher with sanitizer strips and maintains cleaning solution levels and replaces as needed
- Checks supply levels and orders as needed and stores in appropriate manner
- Clean tables and changes tablecloths after every meal without exceptions
- Cleans work area at the end of shift and after meals, including sweeping and mopping the dining area, bar and café area
- Delivers food and beverage orders to residents’ apartments or in dining area as specified by resident or supervisor
