Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience in fine dining hospitality or senior living preferred
- Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
- Maintain CPR, First Aid, and ServeSafe certifications as required
- Ability to comply with safety procedures and policies
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must participate in testing requirements such as Tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by law
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hiring
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe physical and social environment for residents and fellow team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and provide general descriptions to residents
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond to pertinent questions about menu items
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to established guidelines
- Respond to the dining needs of residents while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards
- Attend pre-meal briefing to gain knowledge of meal and meal support activities
- Follow all local, state/provincial, and federal policies regarding food handling
- Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Perform dining room checklist inspections for cleanliness and readiness and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain side work duties as assigned
- Maintain assigned tables and surrounding area in cleanliness, appearance, and readiness
- Perform dining room set-up and re-set of tables as per procedures
- Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
- Perform and complete opening and closing checklist criteria
- Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
- Review, read, notate, and initial the Daily Log to document pertinent information
- Review Resident Diet Book-TSD or confidential chart
- Maintain and protect confidentiality of resident information
- Practice safe food handling to prevent food borne illness
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments
- Maintain all work areas in a healthy and safe condition
- Assist in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization, and supplies placement
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout procedures
- Participate actively as a member of a team and commit to team goals
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- Commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- Contribute to engagement programs and processes
- Attend meetings such as Town Hall, Department Team, and Cross Over as directed
- Maintain compliance in assigned and required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
