Job Requirements
- Completion and passing of a drug test excluding marijuana
- Participation in required health testing such as tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- Compliance with Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to food service and dining room maintenance
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to uphold Sunrise Senior Living's health and safety standards
- Valid work authorization according to local regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dining or food service roles preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and assist in training care managers
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas
Job Duties
- Provide dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas
- Serve as a role model in providing dining service and assist training care managers
- Maintain proper dining room setup and assist in special events
- Monitor appropriate checklists to support dining area cleanliness and readiness standards
- Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
- Handle all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
- Comply with all federal, state/provincial, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service
