Job Requirements
- completion of and passing a drug test
- participation in tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- compliance with covid-19 and influenza vaccination mandates as applicable
- ability to follow federal, state, provincial, and local food service regulations
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or dining room management preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitary procedures
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- attention to detail and commitment to quality service
Job Duties
- provide dining and table services to residents in the dining rooms and designated areas
- serve as a role model for dining service and assist in training care managers
- maintain proper dining room set up and cleanliness
- assist in special events and ensure dining area readiness standards
- monitor and complete checklists for dining area hygiene and readiness
- assist in maintaining tabletop inventories
- handle food and beverages according to sanitary procedures and regulatory standards
