Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Food Safety Certification within 90 days of taking the position
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Minimum one year of experience in fine dining hospitality or senior living preferred
  • Ability to attend scheduled shifts Sunday and Wednesday 3pm-7pm
  • Ability to comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Willingness to participate in required training and community meetings
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and health evaluations

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality or senior living preferred
  • Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Knowledge of ServeSafe standards
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Provide support in day-to-day dining room operations maintaining a safe and positive environment
  • Provide dining service training to new care managers
  • Assist residents with menu selections and respond to related questions
  • Take meal and beverage orders and serve according to guidelines
  • Maintain dining room cleanliness and readiness through checklist inspections
  • Perform dining room setup and resetting of tables
  • Review and document daily logs and resident diet information maintaining confidentiality
