Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
  • Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Maintain ServeSafe certification
  • Ability to comply with safety protocols
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and health screenings
  • Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations as required by law

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide support in the day-to-day dining room operations while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
  • Provide dining service training to new care managers
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with menu selections
  • Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
  • Attend pre-meal briefings and follow food handling policies
  • Perform dining room cleanliness inspections and maintain set-up standards
  • Complete opening and closing checklist criteria and assist in tabletop inventories
  • Review and document pertinent resident information
  • Practice safe food handling and complete cleaning assignments
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
  • Participate actively as a team member and commit to team goals
  • Attend regular meetings and maintain required training compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
