Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain ServeSafe certification
- Adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to upholding company values and resident confidentiality

Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe physical and social environment for residents and fellow team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and provide general descriptions to residents
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions about menu items
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to guidelines
- Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Perform dining room checklist inspections for cleanliness and readiness
- Maintain side work duties as assigned
- Maintain assigned tables and surrounding area cleanliness, appearance, and readiness
- Perform and ensure dining room set-up and re-set of tables
- Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
- Perform and complete opening and closing checklist criteria
- Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
- Review, notate, and initial the Daily Log to document pertinent information
- Review Resident Diet Book-TSD or confidential chart
- Maintain and protect confidentiality of resident information
- Practice safe food handling to prevent outbreaks
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments
- Maintain all work areas in a healthy and safe condition
- Assist in dining room and surrounding area organization and supplies placement
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout
- Participate actively as a team member working toward team goals
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- Commit to serving residents through the Principles of Service
- Contribute to engagement programs and processes
- Attend regular meetings such as Town Hall and Department Team meetings
- Maintain compliance in required training and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
