Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living preferred
- Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with menu selections
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to guidelines
- Attend pre-meal briefings to gain knowledge of meals and support activities
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and readiness through checklist inspections
- Perform dining room setup and reassignment according to procedures
- Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
- Review and document daily logs and resident dietary information
- Practice safe food handling and sanitation protocols
- Complete cleaning assignments and maintain work areas in a healthy and safe condition
- Support risk management and safety compliance including use of PPE and adherence to regulations
- Participate actively as a team member and contribute to team goals
- Maintain compliance with required training and certifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
