Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
  • must obtain food safety certification within 90 days of employment
  • maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • maintain ServeSafe certification
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • competent organizational and time management skills
  • adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • participate in required training and meetings
  • physically able to perform duties
  • able to maintain confidentiality of resident information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provide support in day-to-day dining room operations maintaining a high quality and safe environment
  • provide dining service training to new care managers
  • assist residents with menu selections and respond to menu questions
  • take meal and beverage orders and serve according to guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and readiness through dining room checklist inspections
  • perform dining room set-up and table maintenance
  • review and document resident dietary needs and information
  • practice safe food handling and maintain sanitation
  • support compliance with occupational health and safety standards
  • participate actively as a team member contributing to team goals and engagement
  • attend required meetings and training
  • perform other duties as assigned
