Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
- Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Complete all required training and re-education
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in team meetings
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to resident service
- Pass drug test and other pre-employment screenings as required
- Comply with vaccination mandates if applicable
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide descriptions to residents
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
- Respond to dining needs while maintaining hospitality standards
- Attend pre-meal briefings
- Follow all food handling policies
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and readiness
- Perform dining room checklist inspections
- Maintain side work duties
- Keep assigned tables clean and ready
- Set up and re-set tables according to procedures
- Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
- Complete opening and closing checklist criteria
- Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
- Review and document daily logs
- Review resident diet and confidential information
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Practice safe food handling
- Complete cleaning assignments
- Maintain healthy and safe work areas
- Assist with dining room organization and supplies placement
- Partner with team for health and safety compliance
- Practice safety procedures including PPE and fire extinguisher use
- Participate actively in team activities
- Demonstrate team member credo in interactions
- Commit to principles of service
- Contribute to engagement programs
- Attend meetings as directed
- Maintain compliance in required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
