Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- food safety certified within 90 days of taking the position
- maintain cpr and first aid certifications
- maintain serve safe certification
- sign driver job description if driving a company vehicle
- complete all required training and ongoing re-education as mandated by sunrise and regulatory authorities

Job Duties
- provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe physical and social environment for residents and fellow team members
- provide dining service training to new care managers
- maintain knowledge of daily and always available menu items and provide general descriptions to residents
- assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions about menu items
- take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to established guidelines
- respond to the dining needs of residents while maintaining hospitality and service standards
- attend pre-meal briefing to gain knowledge of meal and support activities
