Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years old
- Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English at an eighth grade level
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including helping after falls
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of sixteen years
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English at eighth grade proficiency or higher
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Capability to assist residents with mobility
- Criminal background clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle and entertain residents
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
- Bus tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents' dietary habits and meal attendance
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Respond appropriately to residents after a fall
