Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a food and beverage service preferred
- Experience related to dealing with the general public preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members and managers
- Basic knowledge and understanding of math
- Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
Job Duties
- Function as steward, seater, food and drink runner and in room dining attendant
- Responsible for making a lasting impression on guests as they arrive and depart
- Welcome guests to the restaurant with good posture and a warm, sincere greeting
- Interact with guests with great poise, friendliness and proper verbiage
- Provide a chit to kitchen and server 2
- Deliver menus and seat guests in the dining room
- Prepare the dining room for operations and service
- Execute the setup of dining spaces by moving tables and chairs to achieve necessary table configurations
- Vacuum dining spaces to ensure continued cleanliness
- Set tables according to AM/PM standards
- Polish glassware and silverware
- Crumb chairs
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and common spaces especially around the fireplace
- Perform routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Maintain the look of the space
- Lift and carry chairs, tables and other equipment during setup
- Understand menu and food terminology
- Assist team members and other positions as necessary
- Prepare and deliver in-room dining service items accordingly
- Have menu knowledge of the restaurant
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Work well with other team members, managers and interact with guests
