Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at minimum 8th grade level
- Positive and energetic attitude towards residents
- Physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, or after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds frequently
- Capacity to assist residents physically as needed
- Criminal background clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
- Prepare tables, salads, and rolling silverware for meal service
- Buss tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff regarding residents' dietary habits or meal attendance
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including helping after falls
- Foster a social and engaging dining atmosphere
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to residents
