Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking as well as assisting after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of sixteen years
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for working with seniors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout an entire shift
- Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capable of assisting residents with physical mobility needs
- Criminal background clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
- Be present and engage with residents by mingling and entertaining
- Prepare dining areas by setting up tables, salads, and rolling silverware
- Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the dining area
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness team about residents’ dietary habits and health changes
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Monitor residents’ attendance and dietary needs during meal services
