Job Requirements

  • Be at least sixteen years of age
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency
  • Maintain a positive and energetic attitude
  • Be physically active with ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
  • Frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
  • Be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

  • At least sixteen years old
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • Be present in the dining room to mingle and entertain
  • Prepare tables and dining areas for service
  • Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
  • Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents' dietary habits
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking when necessary
  • Monitor residents for any changes in appetite or meal attendance
