Job Requirements
- Be at least sixteen years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude
- Be physically active with ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- At least sixteen years old
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade level
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to assist residents with mobility
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room to mingle and entertain
- Prepare tables and dining areas for service
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents' dietary habits
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking when necessary
- Monitor residents for any changes in appetite or meal attendance
