Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Must have ability to read, write, understand and communicate English at an eighth grade proficiency level
- Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Must be able to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
- Must be criminally cleared
- Full time availability Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 7 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to work well with seniors and show empathy
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
- Prepare dining tables and salads for meal service
- Roll silverware and ensure all dining materials are ready for use
- Buss tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking during meals
- Foster a friendly and engaging environment where residents can connect
- Maintain sanitary conditions throughout serving areas
