Job Requirements
- must be at least sixteen years of age
- must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum eighth-grade level
- must have a positive and energetic attitude
- must be physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- must be able to lift or move items up to fifty pounds frequently
- must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assist persons after a fall
- must be criminally cleared

Job Duties
- greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
- prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
- bus tables, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness
- observe residents for changes in dietary habits and communicate with supervisors and wellness staff
- assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including help after falls
- foster a social and engaging environment for residents during meals
- ensure meal service readiness through diligent preparation
