Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (18) years of age
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be physically active to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Must frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Must assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 (18 preferred)
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency level or higher
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop during shifts
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents physically
- Criminal background check clearance
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster resident connections
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness including sweeping floors
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness team about changes in residents' dietary habits or attendance
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
- Support smooth meal service by being prepared and proactive
