Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at minimum eighth grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- Capability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly in English at a minimum eighth grade proficiency
- Positive attitude and willingness to work with elderly residents
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic understanding of senior care needs and safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome residents with warmth and enthusiasm
- Prepare dining tables and food items in advance of meal service
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables and sweeping floors
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ensure safe environment by assisting residents after falls
- Engage with residents to foster a friendly and interactive dining atmosphere
- Collaborate with kitchen and care staff to provide seamless service
