Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years old
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Must maintain a positive and energetic attitude
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Must be criminally cleared according to company and legal standards
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents at minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for working with senior residents
- Ability to provide physical assistance to residents including sitting, standing, and walking
- Experience in a hospitality or senior care setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied shifts including standing and walking for extended periods
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
- Prepare tables, salads, and silverware in advance of meal service
- Bus tables and tidy dining areas to maintain cleanliness
- Engage and entertain residents to create a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking as needed during mealtime
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members in English
- Follow safety and hygiene standards throughout meal service
