Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Positive attitude and a passion for senior care
- Physical capability to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall care
- Must pass criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine love for working with seniors
- Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and falls as required
- Successful criminal background clearance
- Minimum age of sixteen years
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware to ensure smooth meal service
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness including sweeping floors
- Engage with residents through conversation and entertainment to foster social connection
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide support after falls as needed
- Participate actively in maintaining a tidy and safe dining environment
- Ensure readiness and organization of the dining area for each meal service
