Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Positive attitude and a passion for senior care
  • Physical capability to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Capability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall care
  • Must pass criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a genuine love for working with seniors
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility and falls as required
  • Successful criminal background clearance
  • Minimum age of sixteen years

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
  • Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware to ensure smooth meal service
  • Bus tables and maintain cleanliness including sweeping floors
  • Engage with residents through conversation and entertainment to foster social connection
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide support after falls as needed
  • Participate actively in maintaining a tidy and safe dining environment
  • Ensure readiness and organization of the dining area for each meal service
