Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day
  • ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls
  • criminal background clearance
  • able to read, write and understand English at an eighth-grade level
  • positive and energetic demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • minimum eighth grade English proficiency
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • love for working with seniors
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • experience in food service or senior living preferred but not required
  • ability to work scheduled evening shifts

Job Duties

  • greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain and foster a connecting environment
  • prep tables, salads and roll silverware for meal service
  • bus tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
  • communicate dietary habit changes or meal absences to supervisors and wellness team
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after falls
  • uphold a positive and energetic attitude
