Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day
- ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- ability to assist residents with mobility and after falls
- criminal background clearance
- able to read, write and understand English at an eighth-grade level
- positive and energetic demeanor
Job Qualifications
- minimum eighth grade English proficiency
- positive and energetic attitude
- love for working with seniors
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- experience in food service or senior living preferred but not required
- ability to work scheduled evening shifts
Job Duties
- greet residents and make them feel welcome
- be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain and foster a connecting environment
- prep tables, salads and roll silverware for meal service
- bus tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
- communicate dietary habit changes or meal absences to supervisors and wellness team
- assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and after falls
- uphold a positive and energetic attitude
