Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Maintain a guest first focus while performing all duties
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make specific beverage, appetizer, entree and dessert recommendations you genuinely feel guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
- Abide by all state, federal regulations and liquor policies
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Provide proactive beverage refills
- Pre-bus tables between courses
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
- Prepare final bills, accept payment, and process credit card charges or make change
- Bus section tables immediately upon guest departure
- Assist fellow team members as situations arise
- Perform side work as required at shift start and end
- Stand for long periods and safely lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Welcome and greet guests warmly
- Monitor and ensure guest satisfaction
- Respond promptly to guest requests
- Notify manager of any guest dissatisfaction
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Communicate effectively with guests
- Demonstrate active listening, speaking, social perceptiveness and hospitality orientation
- Read and comprehend work documents
- Coordinate actions with others.
