Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Ability to use POS systems
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Clear communication abilities
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and provide recommendations
- Basic math skills for handling money
- Ability to follow state and federal regulations

Job Duties
- Maintain a guest first focus while performing duties
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
- Abide by regulations and restaurant policies related to alcohol service
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Provide proactive beverage refills
- Pre-bus tables between courses
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
- Prepare and present final bills, process payments
- Bus tables immediately after guest departure
- Assist team members as needed
- Perform side work at start and end of shifts
- Stand for long periods
- Lift and maneuver trays up to 25 pounds
- Welcome and greet guests warmly
- Monitor guest dining experience and respond to requests
- Notify management if guests are dissatisfied
- Thank guests and invite them back
- Communicate effectively in predominant guest languages
- Practice active listening and social perceptiveness
- Demonstrate hospitality orientation and coordination
