Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest first focus while performing duties
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes
  • Make beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
  • Abide by regulations and restaurant policies related to alcohol service
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
  • Provide proactive beverage refills
  • Pre-bus tables between courses
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
  • Prepare and present final bills, process payments
  • Bus tables immediately after guest departure
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Perform side work at start and end of shifts
  • Stand for long periods
  • Lift and maneuver trays up to 25 pounds
  • Welcome and greet guests warmly
  • Monitor guest dining experience and respond to requests
  • Notify management if guests are dissatisfied
  • Thank guests and invite them back
  • Communicate effectively in predominant guest languages
  • Practice active listening and social perceptiveness
  • Demonstrate hospitality orientation and coordination
