Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work 8-20 hours per week including every other weekend
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
- basic English proficiency for communication
- prior experience in a food service environment preferred
Job Qualifications
- demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- previous experience in dietary or food service preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- assist with meal preparation
- prepare dining room for meal service
- serve meals to residents and customers
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- follow established policies and procedures for dietary service
- collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience
