Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work 8-20 hours per week including every other weekend
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
  • basic English proficiency for communication
  • prior experience in a food service environment preferred

Job Qualifications

  • demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • previous experience in dietary or food service preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • assist with meal preparation
  • prepare dining room for meal service
  • serve meals to residents and customers
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
  • follow established policies and procedures for dietary service
  • collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience
