Job Requirements

  • Entry-level position with no specific education required
  • Previous experience in food service is preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Prepare tables for meals including linens silverware and glassware
  • Perform light food preparation duties including bread salad appetizers and dessert presentation
  • Greet guests professionally and provide education about the food and beverage menus including preparation methods and ingredients
  • Inform customers of daily specials
  • Check food and beverages for quality and presentation before serving
  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes tableside as required
  • Check identification for minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverage consumption
  • Provide wine recommendations
  • Deliver wine with appropriate glasses and use proper corkage and pouring techniques
  • Receive guest payments and process transactions
  • Clear and clean tables promptly according to sanitation standards
  • Complete side duties such as polishing silverware restaurant setup and filling condiments
