Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to handle cash and payments accurately
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to upsell menu items and interact positively with guests
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Sports bar/nightclub serving background is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding beverage menus is a plus
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in nightclub/sports bar setting
