Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One plus years experience as a food server in a high volume, upscale hotel or restaurant environment
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift trays weighing up to 35 pounds repetitively
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Thorough knowledge of food terminology, food service techniques and sanitation standards
Exceptional guest service skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift trays weighing up to 35 pounds repetitively
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Maintains current knowledge of all menu offerings including ingredients, preparation methods, presentation and timing
Sets up assigned station with all required supplies
Greets guests in a polite and professional manner according to Loews standards
Suggestively sells menu items to enhance the dining experience
Records all aspects of guests order accurately and enters orders into POS terminal
Coordinates placement of orders to ensure consistent flow throughout the meal
Monitors preparation of courses to maintain proper timing
Inspects food presentation to ensure quality
Serves all food and beverage items professionally
Monitors guests at all times to anticipate needs and ensure satisfaction
Prepares and presents accurate guest checks
Collects payments and applies charges using POS terminal
Completes end of shift revenue report and cash deposit
Performs side work duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
Other duties as assigned
