Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a server preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Willingness to obtain TIPS certification or other required alcohol safety requirements
- Ability to stand for an extended amount of time
- Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to follow directions, guidelines and work objectives
- Commitment to excellent guest service
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet customers upon arrival to the event or hotel
- Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner
- Answer questions, suggestively sell and create an upbeat atmosphere for guests
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
- Clear and clean tables as guests leave
- Set tables throughout the shift when applicable
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner
- Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Read BEO and know how to complete set-up properly
- Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly
- Support other areas or roles when necessary
- Be knowledgeable of the menu and offerings for the event
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Assist in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment
- Polish glassware and silverware when requested
- Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests, and report the situation to the Manager
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
- Serve alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Assist in any other task or duties as requested by management
