Job Requirements
- Prolonged periods of being in one place and moving through an event space
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs
- Adherence to company uniform requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook and orientation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year in a banquet or Front of House Food Service experience
- Experience in high volume catering is preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Renowned time management and organization skills
- Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client's needs
- The ability to work alone and as a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Assist in the setting of tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table
- Assist in setting buffet stations which may include décor
- Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques
- Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet captain to ensure flawless customer service
- Managing time effectively
- Assist in managing inventory of equipment and with set up and breakdown of events
- Reporting to the Banquet Captain and performing any tasks assigned to execute a flawless event
