Job Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of being in one place and moving through an event space
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs
  • Adherence to company uniform requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook and orientation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year in a banquet or Front of House Food Service experience
  • Experience in high volume catering is preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Renowned time management and organization skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client's needs
  • The ability to work alone and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Assist in the setting of tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table
  • Assist in setting buffet stations which may include décor
  • Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques
  • Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet captain to ensure flawless customer service
  • Managing time effectively
  • Assist in managing inventory of equipment and with set up and breakdown of events
  • Reporting to the Banquet Captain and performing any tasks assigned to execute a flawless event
