Job Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission
- must successfully pass background check
- must successfully pass drug screening
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts
- valid Food Handlers Card
- liquor license
- Indiana Gaming Commission badge when working
- ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to withstand noisy and smoke-filled environments
- must be able to stand and walk 100 percent of shift

- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of serving experience in family or casual dining environment

Job Duties
- Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana for gaming entertainment
- greet each guest and provide superior guest service for all Food and Beverage operations
- maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
- complete all opening and closing duties
- set tables with clean dishes, glasses, and flatware in accordance with approved guest service procedures
- have knowledge of all items being served, suggesting courses and appropriate drinks, and answering questions regarding food preparation
- offer drinks and fulfill beverage orders
- have extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail menu
- check for quality after each course
- refill all drinks when needed
- remove all dirty dishes and glassware from guest tables during and after each course and replace
- total bill, present check, collect settlement, and take payment to cashier for alcoholic purchases
- communicate effectively and professionally with culinary team
- transport dish cart to and from service station/stewards station
- stock server stations with necessary items and maintain cleanliness
- maintain the general cleanliness of all public areas including floors, furniture, and waitress stations
- maintain clean table section by clearing, cleaning and replenishing between each seating
- resupply provisions on guest tables, venue areas and waitress stations including backup glasses, silverware and dishes
- adhere to sanitation standards as outlined by Indiana State Law and company
- maximize profit and guest satisfaction through effective cost controls
- adhere to all three-star standards
- work considerately with team members from all departments
- check out with manager before leaving at the end of shift
- perform other departmental duties and assignments as directed by management
