Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • At least 1 year of serving experience preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to provide excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greets guests in the dining room
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
  • Accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences
  • Takes food and beverage orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests and promptly addresses guest concerns
  • Continuously communicates with the back-of-house team to ensure meals and service meet guest expectations
  • Attends ongoing meetings, training, and pre-shifts
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • Closes down workstation at the end of each day and ensures all side work is completed
