Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • have reliable means of transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to provide service in an accurate and timely manner
  • proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with residents, families, and employees

Job Duties

  • Efficiently serve food and beverages to tables for restaurant style service
  • handle all service ware correctly
  • accurately provide information about the meal presented including offering suggestions and answering questions
  • observe diners to fulfill additional requests and perceive when meal has been completed by circulating through the dining room
  • remove dishes during and after the meal efficiently to meet sanitation standards
  • wash and set up tables with clean linen, silverware, and glassware while checking cleanliness of chairs and condiments
  • restock supplies prior to next meal service
  • initiate and participate in cross training in hosting and serving
  • complete all side work before, during, and after meal service efficiently
  • clean and sanitize department storage, refrigeration/freezer, utensils, waste containers, and equipment as assigned
  • routinely check and participate in catering set-up and clean-up
