Job Requirements

Proof of age as required (18 or 21 depending on state) for serving alcohol
basic food handling training and required certifications or permits
completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
regular and consistent attendance
energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
excellent guest service skills
accurate cash handling
strong interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse groups
ability to work in a team and independently
ability to take and follow direction
respond with urgency
able to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs
able to stand and walk for extended periods
comfortable working in moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
strong communication skills including verbal and written proficiency in English
ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings
basic math skills for accurate cash handling
proven customer service skills
ability to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency
previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required
knowledge of safe alcohol service practices
familiarity with health and safety standards

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting any concerns to management
verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
consistently use suggestive selling techniques
collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
performs other work-related duties as assigned
