Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old (21 in some states) to serve alcohol
  • Obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handler permit where required
  • Complete Safe Alcohol Service training
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Possess energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Demonstrate accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and reach
  • Able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels
  • Able to work standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proof of age for alcohol service
  • Completion of basic food handling training
  • Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and correct ticket distribution
  • Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
  • Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
