Job Requirements
- Proof of age with minimum age of 18 or 21 depending on state laws
- completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification
- completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
- excellent Guest service skills
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- ability to follow direction promptly
- physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to work in moderate to high noise level environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of alcohol and food menu items
- ability to effectively communicate with diverse Guests and team members
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required
- teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- ability to follow directions and operate in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
- responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
- verify identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
- consistently wipe down and sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
