Job Requirements

Proof of age to serve alcohol
Completion of basic food handling training and obtaining local or state certification if required
Completion of safe alcohol service training program
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to take and follow direction
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to handle moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and related laws
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to follow directions and work both independently and in a team environment
Basic math and cash handling skills

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting concerns
Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate
Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
